Poroporoaki ki a Mahea Tomoana

30 July 2010

Poroporoaki ki a Mahea Tomoana

Kua wehe atu ki tua o te arai a Mahea Tomoana, tetahi o nga tohunga whakapumau o Gifted Sands. Haere atu ra e hika, haere, haere, haere. Mahea Tomoana, one of the founding artists of Gifted Sands, has passed beyond the veil. Farewell friend, farewell, farewell.

Kia hora te marino
Kia whakapapa pounamu te moana
Kia tere te karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the surface of the ocean
glisten like greenstone, and
May the shimmer of summer
dance across your path
Forever"
